How do I request a provider consultation?
Connecting with a VitalCare Connect Provider
Reaching a provider is now both fast and easy. The following steps will provide a brief overview of how to connect to a provider:

After logging into VitalCare Connect, click "Request New Visit" at the top of the app
- Select either single or multi-patient call
- Single patient call: connect to a provider to discuss a single patient's needs
- Multi-patient call: add multiple patients to a queue to discuss with the same provider in a single consultation
- Enter the patient details (note: EHR integrated facilities will simply search for the patient's name)
- Use the "Chief complaint" box to share details relevant to the consultation request (note: this will appear on the daily summary report for facility leadership as well as your medical director provider group team)
- Click to add any attachments using the camera on the iPad (e.g. lab reports)
- Review the patient consent
- Click "Connect to a Provider"
- A provider will join the call shortly
